Events for teachers and school leaders

CAIE logoCambridge Schools Conferences

Our Cambridge Schools Conferences are an opportunity for teachers and school leaders from different countries and contexts to share knowledge and discuss common challenges in education. We hold three conferences every year, each in a different location around the world.

The main focus of our conferences is the professional development of Cambridge teachers and school leaders. Each year we choose a conference theme based on an area of educational practice which is explored in depth through presentations and workshops from expert keynote speakers.

We also offer a wide range of breakout sessions covering both the conference theme and other aspects of teaching and learning.

British council logoSchools Now! Conference

The Schools Now! conference is for school leaders who wish to learn more about the key areas of education in the 21st century, to share their experiences of these areas and to network with like-minded peers.

The conference also allows policy makers, school leaders and academics to collaborate and exchange ideas and policies.

CAIE logoPrincipals Forums

Our Principals forums update Cambridge schools on programme and qualification developments, and help to strengthen the sense of community between Cambridge schools around the world.

To find out more, contact your local British Council office.

British council logoPrincipals Forums

British Council Principals Forums are one-day meetings for school principals. The British Council invites a speaker to explore a specific topic and exam boards are also invited to give a presentation.

Principals Forums are held several times a year in most countries. To find out more contact your local British Council exams team.

CAIE logo‘Learn more’ events

Our Learn more events help Cambridge schools, or schools who would like to join Cambridge International to find out more about a particular programme or qualification. They provide detailed information that is aimed at teachers who are interested in a syllabus or programme.

To find out more, contact your local British Council office.

Awards for learners and schools

CAIE logoOutstanding Cambridge Learner Awards

Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are a group of awards issued by Cambridge Assessment International Education. They recognise exceptional learner achievement in Cambridge examinations around the world. The primary purpose of these awards is to celebrate and recognise the success of high-performing Cambridge learners.

All Cambridge International students are eligible for our prestigious ‘Top in the World’ award. In those countries where Cambridge examinations are taken by more students a wider range of awards are available.

British council logoHigh Achievers Awards

Higher Achievers Awards Ceremonies are run in collaboration with awarding bodies to highlight and recognise student achievement and excellence at IGCSE and A Level.
