Teaching & learning
Cambridge O Level Spanish is designed for learners who already have a working knowledge of the language and who want to consolidate, and develop further, their understanding to progress in their academic or professional careers. They will learn how to use Spanish effectively in the type of situations, and Spanish-speaking environments, that they will encounter in their daily lives.
The aim is to enable learners to achieve greater fluency, accuracy and confidence in the written language and to achieve a level of practical communication which can also form the basis for further, more in-depth language study.
We are withdrawing Cambridge O Level Spanish (3035). The last examination for this subject will be November 2017. You may be interested in Cambridge IGCSE Spanish (0530) as a possible alternative qualification.
The syllabus year refers to the year in which the examination will be taken.
