A curriculum can only be successful if teachers understand how to adapt their professional practice to teach it effectively, and are supported to do so.
We can help improve classroom practice by identifying what currently works well, and then building on these existing skills and traditions. They can support you to develop textbook production skills. With Cambridge University Press we can support the implementation of new curricula through resources and teacher training programmes.
Curriculum changes need to become thoroughly embedded in the education system, but this can only happen if we are sympathetic to the cultural context in which these changes take place. We know that changing the pedagogical approach takes time, and we can support teachers and school leaders during any period of change.
