Teaching and learning
Ahead of the Cambridge Schools Conference we are offering two pre-conference workshops, each running on 6 and 7 December 2017. Bookings for either of these workshops will incur an additional cost as they are not included in your conference registration.
Both workshops will run at the same time so delegates may only register for one.
We are also offering individuals from ministries and education organisations to attend our Improving Education Outcomes conference on the 6 December 2017.
Measuring Impact: How do I know if I am making a difference to my learners?
Date: 6—7 December 2017
Venue: Mövenpick Hotel, Ibn Battuta Gate, Dubai
The most effective teachers and leaders are reflective: they regularly ask the question, ‘Is what I am doing making a difference?’ Experience shows that this can often be a difficult question to answer. This two-day workshop will explore how we can measure the impact of teaching, review outcomes for our learners and improve the quality of students' learning in our classroom and across our schools.
We believe that a well-designed and supported curriculum is vital for a school to achieve its educational vision and aims. This two-day workshop will help primary school leaders following the Cambridge programme to review, implement and evaluate the curriculum in their own school context. We will consider the role of curriculum leaders and explore techniques to support the teaching team.
Date: 7 December 2017
Location: Mövenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, Dubai
This event provides opportunities for policy makers and education experts from around the world to come together to explore key themes. The event is designed to support individuals from ministries and education organisations who are actively working to improve education outcomes in their country.
